Alongside his work as a professional director of photography and producing his own award-winning moving image work, his practice-led research re-conceptualises the notion of the sublime as eco-sublime to reflect the pervasive nature of the climate crisis and argues that through eco-sublime landscapes artists and audiences can explore the relationships and interconnectivity between humans and more-than-human entities in nature.
