Johanna Södermark

Johanna Södermark is a poet and singer-songwriter, an artist, therapist and guide in creative, relational exploration of life. She is also a survivor and healer of the emergence and emergency of her deep soul through bipolar psychoses, mania and a deep sense of disconnection to a system that was failing her longing for flowing and meaningful connection, collaboration and belonging. Johanna is a lover of the dance between spirit and matter and the expansion of sustainable and grounded work in spirit and in community.

She is part of the leading team of a non-profit organization – Tell-a-new-vision, TANV. This is a movement creating projects for sustainability, connection to the earth, permaculture, healthy relationships and for leaving the planet in better condition for generations to come. The organization is hosting several projects, aiming for the positive evolution of the interplay between humans and nature, between young and old, and for resilience within each and everyone. One of the projects, led by her lifepartner Kristian Brandt, is a documentary film about the importance of a healthy biome and the microlife of the soil, and how it is supporting both mental and physical health. Another project in development is ‘Green roots’ – a project focusing on horticulture therapy and the interconnectedness between younger and older people.
