Director Diagnonsense
Ane-Martha Tamnes Hansgård is a 41-year-old director. She works as the head of the film production company Mattima Films, based in Mo i Rana. With a background in both dance and the performing arts, as well as training as a documentary filmmaker, she seeks to convey important messages across various creative forms of expression.
Hansgård has experience as a former mental health patient, having been subjected to mistreatment and over-diagnosis from her teenage years through to adulthood. Through her work on the documentary film, Diagnonsense, she intends to share her experiences to highlight a dysfunctional system and contribute to a shift in awareness regarding mental health.
