Olga Runciman is the first and only psychologist in Denmark with a private practice specializing in extreme states. She is a teacher, international speaker, writer, activist, and photographer. She co-founded the Danish Hearing Voices Network and the International Institute for Psychiatric Drug Withdrawal. In addition, she serves on the boards of various organizations, including Intervoice, Mad in America, and others.
Olga is an Open Dialogue therapist and currently practices as such in her private practice. Previously, she worked for many years as a nurse, initially in somatic medicine, specializing in neurology, before specializing as a psychiatric nurse. She knows psychiatry from both the inside and the outside, and her unique experience enables her to build a bridge between these two worlds and foster mutual understanding.
