Jimmy Ruben Sylow Westerheim is the founder of The Human Aspect Foundation, which is behind the Life Experience Library. He grew up in a small village in Hurum, where he felt alienated and ended up as a suicidal 13-year-old struggling to find hope. From a decisive turning point he found a new direction in life, which led him on a journey through sports, shipping, and fieldwork for Doctors Without Borders. His academic background is in shipping, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in management. Over the past decade, he has led with curiosity, taking THA from an idea to a global movement. He actively works to raise awareness while challenging our narratives about what makes us human. He is a pioneer in Digitized Lived Experience and shows us new ways to integrate lived experience into psychology, while reminding us all to connect with one another through our humanity.
